    MAST FOODS S.A. is a leading Greece-based producer and exporter of aseptic tomato paste and fruit purees for industry, with over 40 years experience in the processing of agricultural products.

    The factory, which covers an area of 38.000 sq. m., is located in central Greece, in the Almiros area of the Magnesia Prefecture, near to the port and the airport of Volos at the 285th km of the national road Athens-Thesaloniki, in the heart of the fresh tomato growing region.

    Technology
    MASTFOODS is equipped with the most up-to-date processing technology manufactured by the Italian company, CFT, a renowned world leader in the manufacture of industrial equipment for the food industry with over 60 years experience. Our company s production line is based on the cold extraction method which has the advantage of preserving the organoleptic characteristics of the product, thus leading to a high quality, semi-finished end product with a more natural taste and texture that may be suitable for even the most special food projects. A further advantage of this highly hygienic design is that unpleasant off-flavors and unsafe components are avoided altogether.

    Quality control of the highest safety standards has been applied to all stages of production-from the raw materials which are carefully selected and controlled to the finished products-by means of the latest technology and highly trained staff (chemists, mechanical engineers, food technologists).

    MASTFOODS has also implemented procedures aimed at further assuring product quality, always taking international hygiene and specifications standards into consideration. Our HACCP has been developed for all stages of production thereby ensuring product safety through the application of a certified quality control system that is in conformity with ISO 22000.
