    Milestones

    1975: Founded the company under the name Hawly.
    1989: Company renamed to Houly, focusing on making kitchen knives, food
    preparation knives, table utensils, steak knife sets, fish knives, etc.
    1990: Produced steak knives as giveaways for Readers Digest.
    1991: Developed tools for pet care, such as pet fur stripping combs among other
    things.
    1994: Developed and produced hollow body knives.
    1995: Developed and designed cheese knives.
    2005: Developed and produced table cloth clips.
    2006: Launched new food preparation knives on consumer TV network.
    2008: Developed and produced stainless steel wine cork.
    2009: Developed and produced LFGB colored knives.
    2010: Developed and produced patented knife holders.
