    The National Detergent Company, NDC, was set up in 1981 as a public limited company.


    NDC has always laid the highest emphasis on Quality to ensure that our products conform to international specifications. This quest for quality has resulted in the ISO 9001 accreditation of the company in November 1995. The company manufactured, under contract, brands of detergent powders and liquids for Unilever and Henkel, Germany.

    NDC brands have found wide acceptance in the Gulf and compete very successfully with brands of Multinational companies. Over 50 percent of our production is exported, mainly to the AGCC countries, East Africa and CIS countries. Our flagship brand, Bahar is the market leader in Oman with around 45 percent market share.


    BAHAR is our flagship brand, and our BAHAR detergent powder is also a market leader in Oman. It has recently been relaunched as BAHAR with FWA power. FWA stands for Flourescent Whitening Agent, which is a unique formula to provide unmatched whiteness and brightness to washed clothes. Besides, BAHAR with its superior formulation is gentle on fabrics and tough on heavy soils, yet it is effective on cotton and polyester blended fabrics. It has special ingredients to remove stains like blood, meat, egg etc. And control graying of fabrics.


    BAHAR Dish Washing Liquid

    A specially formulated product, BAHAR Dish washing Liquid effectively removes greasy deposits and stains from utensils, glassware and other kitchen utilities. It has good foaming power and foam stability with excellent cleaning ability.





    SUR

    SUR, a value for money product, is a very popular brand in export markets. It is recommended for all domestic requirements. SUR is ideal for use in top loading machines and for hand washing of clothes.


    GENTIL Fabric Softener

    GENTIL softener works deep inside the fabric to untangle fabrics made stiff from the wash. It leaves the clothes petal soft and fragrant. The product eliminates static cling and makes ironing easier and effective on all types of fabrics. GENTIL can be used in rinse wash cycle in washing machines and also can be used for hand wash. GENTIL is available in two variants Morning Dew and Spring fresh.

    SAHAR
