Royal Toto Metal Co., Ltd was originally established as Royal Metal Co., Ltd. in 1970, renaming itself in 1980 after embarking on a joint venture with the Japanese company, Toto Ltd., which holds a 25 percent stake. Royal Toto Metal Co., Ltd has registered capital of US$ 6.5 million and has invested a total of US$60 million in its two factories in Incheon and offices and showroom in nearby Seoul. The company employs some 480 workers, including 48 production technicians and 36 quality assurance staff. Exports, largely to Asian markets, account for approximately 10 percent of annual revenue, which is in the region of US$35 million.
