Introduce:: Artismarble is S. A's society with principal goal the production of sawn limestone blocs from the famous Thala Beige Royal Marble. The factory is implemented in Thala at West center of Tunisia from which is extracted the Beige Royal Marble.
The product is a sawed bloc of marble from 150mm by 150mm by 70mm up to 300mm by 200 mm by 150mm and varios paving and border sawed marble as per dimensions required by customers.
This bloc is 100% natural, and following its geotechnical caracteristics:
Specifc Weight grams per cubic cm: 2. 67
Porosity: from 4 to 4, 5 percent
Compression resistance kilograms per cm squqre: from 420 up to 1100
Wear Resistance MDE = 21 up to 23
Thala marble is famous since it was used by Romains to built many famous monument in the empire and still exported to Europe, Asia and North America.
The factory is using both hand-made andmachinery. Marble stone is selected by experimented staff and hand prepared then is sawed in 03 steps by machinery. Finition as polishing, honing and other is made as per customers requests.
