    Founded in march of 1985, classic components corporation is a broadline stocking distributor specializing in integrated circuits, transistors, diodes, passive and interconnect products, and computer peripherals. Our expert experience and vast product knowledge spans decades throughout the industry. Classic's global headquarters, administration, and main warehouse are located in a 60k square foot facility in torrance, a suburb of los angeles, california. Currently employing over 450 people in 18 offices worldwide, classic components offers value-added services such as programming, tape and reel, kitting, just-in-time deliveries and same-day shipping, to name a few.

    Where we've been:1998...

    European expansion: Since 1998, classic opened offices in birmingham, england, barcelona, spain, paris france, seoul, south korea, teipei, taiwan, vienna, austria and guadalajara, mexico expanding our up-to-the-minute responses and value-added services thruought the globe. Passive division - franchise: Classic is the authorized representatives for three major manufacturers in the passives and connector industries; mijo technologies, elna america and connexx. Catalogs and mijo engineering kits are available.

    Registration to ISO 9002: In adherence to known international or national management system standards, classic components' global headquarters was awarded ISO 9002 certification on october 13,1998. Certificate number:008497, and has maintained its certification through bi-annual audits.

    Global expansion. Maintaining its philosophy 'that no one knows the neighborhood like someone who lives there', classic components is exploring plans to open offices in mainland china, banglore, india and portland, oregon.
