    Introduce:
    Shivaraja Impex Company (SHIMCO) , The Foreign Trade arm of CHOKKAR group of companies, was incorporated in the year 1996.
    Few words about our group head
    Mr. R. Chokkar started our parent industry, CHOKKAR POLYBAGS, in the year 1977. He was the first to start a Polypropylene film extrusion plant in Tamil Nadu. He was the Managing director of Sree Ayyanar Spinning and Weaving Mills ltd for 12 years. He also headed a leather products export company, JC leathers pvt ltd, for 3 years.
    Our Activities
    Shivaraja Impex Company started its foreign trade in the ocean of plastics-HDPE / LDPE / PP BAGS AND SHEETS, VIRGIN AND RECYCLED GRANULES. Then, it ventured into Plastic and rubber Additives (WHITE, BLACK, COLOR MASTERBATCHES & CaCo3 / LDPE based FILLERS) .
    SHIMCO extended its overseas business into the arena of food products like PULSES, DRY RED CHILLIES, RICE, COOKING OILS like SUNFLOWER OIL, GINGELLY OIL (SESAME SEED OIL) and SPICES & MASALA POWDERS.
    We trade in stationery products like NOTEBOOKS, DRAWING SETS / GEOMENTRY Instruments, DAIRIES & CALENDERS both for Indian consumers and export market.
    Shivaraja Impex Company also exports SAFETY MATCHES to Tanzania, Kenya, Chad, Angola, Dominican Republic, Singapore & Brunei.
    Approach towards the world market
    Mr. C. Sreeraja, our CEO, has traveled extensively for establishing good contacts in Singapore (where we have our subsidiary office) , Malaysia, Uzbekistan, Thailand, Hong Kong, Tanzania, Kenya, Chad, Cameroon, Sri Lanka, Mauritius and Indonesia.
    In these countries, where we buy our recycled granules, fillers and other additives, he does his personal inspection during loading of the cargo, so that no inferior goods are shipped to India.
    Likewise, he and a team of qualified quality inspectors, to assure the best quality products for our overseas customers, monitor all exports.
    He has also traveled to few countries in Europe to visit various Fairs & exhibitions & one-one meets with prospective buyers and has successfully gained many export orders for our sister concerns in Germany, France, Switzerland & United Kingdom.
    Our Manufacturing Facilities
    We have our manufacturing and Agricultural Produces procuring facilities for most of our products in Virudhunagar and Chennai. About 110 employees are working in our different facilities to take care of the quality and smooth functioning of our imports and exports.
