    VC Overseas Pvt. Ltd is a locally owned company. It was established in 2003 and began exporting from the same year. The ISO 9001:2000 certified company supplies fashion jewelry to Spain, the UK, Netherlands, Australia and the US. Main products are necklaces, bangles, bracelets and earrings. The company also exports belts if they are made through their own designers. Prices of fashion jewelry range from 50 cents to US$4.50. Some special designs of necklaces even cost US$6.00 and above.

    The company also supplies necklaces of semi precious beads, which cost US$ 7.00 to 15.00. The best selling items vary from season to season. Sets of bangles in different materials are currently doing very well. Packing is done in polybags with master packing in bubble wrap. Tags and barcodes of buyers are added and special packing can be done as per buyers requirements. Materials used are lead free copper and iron and, nickel free brass. About 50 percent products are made with brass and 20 percent with copper and iron, with 30 percent being made of other materials. Glass beads, resin beads, bone, wood, lac and shellac are also used. Crystals are sourced from Mumbai in Maharashtra. Meena work is done in Delhi and Moradabad (Uttar Pradesh).

    As most products are natural and handmade, there are variations in the sizes and colors and customers are made aware of this before the products are supplied. Sampling takes two to three weeks. A minimum order of 300 pieces per design per color with a minimum invoice value of US$4,000.00 would be supplied in 45 to 60 days.Most production is subcontracted through regular suppliers of the company. Plating and labor jobs are done at the 400sqm factory.Some designs require very fine filigree work, which is specially made from Kolkata in West Bengal from the craftsmen there.QC is done by six persons who check the quality, breakage, color bleeding and also get lead-free testing of nickel done.
