Introduce:: LAZURDE Group started in the 1980s as a small 16-square-meter workshop in AL Hila gold market in Riyadh. The number of workers back then was only 6 employees managed by Group founder Mr. Abdul Aziz AL Othaim. In 1987, the (Saudi Pearl & Gold Factory) was established in the second industrial area in Riyadh. The factory specialized in producing gold jewellery of all karats in addition to jewellery set with precious stones and pearls. In 1995 the new name (Lazurde) was launched to give the Group products a unique character that is synonymous with top quality and continuous creativity. The new brand name was registered in 36 countries all over the world. Later on, expansion went on by adding extra factories each of which specialized in producing certain products to meet the increasing demand for Lazurde products.

The Group won many international prizes among which are the (Best Trade Name) in 1996 from Spain. Moreover, Lazurde designs won many prizes in design contests organized by World Gold Council in 1995,1998 and 1999. The last prize was the (International Technical Innovation Prize) in 2002 from Italy.
