    History. Our business is passed down from generation to generation. We have no memory of when it is started, but we know that Gaetano Raiano produced in 1890 approximately 7 hectares of vineyards planted mainly with grapes such as Piedirosso called "Per e Palummo" and white local indigenous grapes which cluster had a small horn shape called Corniciello.
    Subsequently the business was passed to the eldest son Michele Raiano who produced highly appreciated wines with craftsmanship and passion. Afterward the business was passed to the sixth son of the latter, Antonio.
    Antonio, in the beginning, had other aspirations. He had almost graduated in mechanical engineering, but after many family vicissitudes (in a little while he lost his father, mother and older brother to whom the continuation of the business was intended). So he was left alone and unable to continue his studies.
    Therefore he pursued the business with perseverance, courage and passion with excellent results even earning awards. Today the sons Michele and Giovanni, after graduating respectively in aerospace engineering and electronic engineering, continue with the same passion the family business, trying to give tothe company, in the full process of globalization, an international opening, entering new expanding markets like China and Russia, offering high quality products and contributing to the affirmation of the Italian wine culture in the world, one of the flagships of our made in Italy.Today the company Raiano, thanks to the wisdom of 4 generations that have passed the secrets and methods of vinification of more than 120 years and thanks to the passion and constant pursuit of excellence motivated by the results of the research in the wine sector, continues to produce and select wines belonging to the best vocation areas of the region Campania in the belief that the best product always combines experience, knowledge and culture of wine, and a long continually reinterpreted tradition. All this thanks to the investments that the company makes each year.
