    Gezer, which manufactures slippers, sandals and boots, started its life as a wooden based slipper maker in a small shop in 1968.

    It is now the leader in its sector in the turkish market with an annual capacity of 35 million pairs and a plant of 20 thousand square metres. Gezer is the only company in the sector that owns ISO 9001 certification and is successfully managing quality along the production line by acting in compliance with those standards and regulations.

    Gezer has established vertical integration by founding gezderi, which produces synthetic leather and suede; ferah taban, which produces polyurethane shoe and slipper bases and polexchem, which produces polyurethane. Gezer aims to increase its share in the footwear market; thus, it introduced two new brands in order to attract new customers from different backgrounds and varying financial capabilities: Ziley and my loris. Ziley is intended to attract price-sensitive customers who seek quality products whereas my loris is intended to attract young population which have no financial considerations by offering them smart styles. The customers' perceptions have been positive and the two brands are planned to grow by new ideas and investments.

    The corporate mission statement is to add value to the turkish economy by trading its quality products with good prices in the turkish market and many others all around the world. Gezer 's primary goal has always been to offer its customers quality products with good prices. It makes all the necessary investments in R&D and works on a good organisational structure to accomplish that. R&D studies take place in and out of Turkey in order to offer comfortable products designed bearing healthy feet in mind.

    Gezer exports its products to more than 50 countries all over the world. Its vision is to make all its brands highly recognised and competitive in the global markets.
