Tweed Fisheries was born out of a small processing and wholesaling company which since the late 1970's services the Australian domestic selected international markets. Now Tweed Fisheries is one of Australia's major exporters of Australian Ocean Caught prawn (shrimp) .
Annual preventive maintenance along with quality and developement programs are undertaken to ensure the plant maintains leadership in systems, processes and quality controls. Technologically advanced processing equipment is utilized throughout the production line, to make certain the production and supply of products are of the highest possible quality.
Tweed Fisheries is an Australian Quarantine and Inspection Services (AQIS) registered establishment. Our classification authorizes export of our product to nations throughout the world including Japan, Hong Kong, various European Union countries and the U. S. A. We follow striclty designed FPA systems and HACCAP guidelines whilst also maintaing our own exacting quality control procedures that keep the Tweed Fisheries brand at the forefront of the international prawn market.
