    Introduce:
The Center for Ecology and Equality (CEE) is a Peruvian NGO founded in 1998.
The proceeds from the sale of Honey and related products such as Honey wine, Pollen, Propolis as well as Creole Duck, Guinea Pig and Goat to restuarants fund, in part, the activities and operation of the CEE.
We an organization that promotes a holistic and environmentally sound rural development, with a focus on family and values. The Center for Ecology and Equality was created to prevent and reverse the process of desertification, deforestation and erosion, while at the same time improving the quality of life of rural and marginalized urban populations living in areas of high environmental degradation and indexes of extreme poverty. Cee accomplishes their objectives through the promotion of activities that depend on the dry forest and serve to create self-subsistence and income generation for the inhabitants. We also work to develop sustainable systems of rural sanction to improve the health and quality of life of local people.
The CEE has more than seven years of experience in the implementation of rural and urban development projects. We have administered numerous successful projects in a number of Peruvian provinces These projects are dedicated to the protection of the environment and the conservation of the equatorial dry forest through the development of productive activities, working with locally based promoters and with community participation. Through these projects, The Center for Ecology and Equality has secured the protection and conservation of 40, 000 hectacres of dry forest, the generation of increased biomass, the implementation of 140 livestock units and 350 improved wood burning stoves. Our current activities cover a geographic range of 23 rural communities with close to 1, 300 beneficiaries.
