    Introduce:
    Philbest Canning Corporation is the biggest canned tuna exporter in the Philippines. We have our own fishing fleet, cold storages, processing plants, fish meal plants, can making plants, and printing houses. We can produce 200 containers of canned tuna per month. We are just one of the 42 subsidiaries of the RD Group of Companies, which includes banking establishments and real estates.

    We have been in the business for the past three years and we are expanding this year with a new plant having a capacity of 200MT expandable to 400 MT per day. Most of our products are exported to the US, EU and Canada. We also serve the requirements of our neighbors in Asia like Japan, Korea and Thailand.

    We are producing the following:
    1. Frozen Tuna Loins
    a. 5 kgs./pack; 8 packs/layer; 32 layers/pallet; 20 pallets/40-footer RVan.
    2. Canned Tuna
    a. Catering packs (1885 grams/tin; 6tins/case; 1596 cases/FCL-TEU)
    b. Retail packs (170 grams/tin; 48 tins/case; 2130 cases/ FCL-TEU)
    c. 211 (100g net; 70g drained weight/tin; 48 tins/case; 3150 cases/ FCL-TEU)
    3. Pouch Tuna
    a. 1 Kilogram (1 kg net weight; 98% drained weight; 6 pouches/case; 2050 cases/ FCL-TEU)
    b. 3 Kilograms(3kg net weight; 98% drained weight; 4 pouches/case; 1250 cases/ FCL-TEU)
    4. Fish Meal
    32 KLs / sack; 625 sacks / 20 footer DVan; 20T / 20-footer DVan

    We are USFDA, EU, HACCP, EFSIS, HALAL and KOSHER accredited. Our ISO is already in process and will be implemented this year. We have also been awarded by the Philippine Government as the Top Export Performer for Marine Products in 2003.
