Nam Viet joint-stock company (Navico) was used to Nam Viet limited company, was set up in 1993 with ordinance capital was 27 billions vnd, working in civilian and industrial construction. In 2000,realizing the robust potential development of tra and basa fish in An Giang, the company decided to broaden trading fields to process maritime products,beginning with building up Nam Viet processing maritime products factory with 30,8 billions vnd for the total investing capital, specialized in processing frozen tra and basa fish for exporting.This was one of major changing in line orienting of Nam Viet processing maritime products factory to raise productivity to 300 tons of material fish per day,in 2004 building up the new Pacific freezing factory processing maritime products with capacity was 200 tons of material fish per day and activate in the end of November,2004, raise total average processing capacity of the company was 500 tons per day.
