Introduce:: Presentation
The association of agricultural cooperatives of Halkidiki, founded in 1928, include 59 cooperatives and more than 7500 producers. Our premises are located in Nea Moudania, 60kms away from Thessaloniki. We own a canning factory for table olives, two olive oil factories, two silos for storage and many points of sales.
Our activities
Since 1970, the association helps the farmers to sell their products. Thus, many years before the emergence of supermarkets, the association opened a big point of sale specialized in olive produces. Nowadays, it is time for us to develop internationally, and we already have experience in that field as many clients testified about their satisfaction.
Since 1980, the association diversified its activities by proposing many services to its members. Indeed, the association redistributes the European agricultural subventionsto the producers, implement projects initiated by the Greek ministry of agriculture, give agricultural advices to the farmers and offers accounting and insurance services to its members.
Our trading activities are therefore totally integrated in the social and economical development of the region.
