    The Morey Family Are Growing Grapes From The Year 1898, In Those Times Grapes Were Sold In a "PALLA".

    IN THE YEAR 1898 GRAPES WERE SOLD AT RS.l/- PER PALLA (120kg)
    IN THE YEAR 1910 GRAPES WERE SOLD AT RS.3/- PER PALLA (120kg)
    IN THE YEAR 1932 GRAPES WERE SOLD AT RS.5/- PER PALLA (120kg)
    IN THE YEAR 1947 GRAPES WERE SOLD AT RS.9/- PER PALLA (120kg)
    IN THE YEAR 1967 GRAPES WERE SOLD AT RS.600/- PER PALLA (120kg)
    IN THE YEAR 1090 GRAPES WERE SOLD AT RS.960/- PER PALLA (120kg)
    IN THE YEAR 2000 GRAPES WERE SOLD AT RS.2400l/- PER PALLA (120kg)

    NOTE :- THE PALLA SYSTEM WAS ABOLISED IN 1947.

    Sailo Wines has started wine production in 2001, having its own vineyard's about 30 Kms away from Nashik City, in the famous grape growing region of Pimpalgaon.

    Sailo Wines Is The Having Its Own & Associates Vineyrds Of About 100 Acres Of Land Under Cultivation For Grapes.
    Mr.Madhavrao.K.Morey The Owner Of The Winnery Has Travelled Extensively In Europe And THe U.S.A. TO Understand The Art Of Wine-Making.

    Our winery makes Red Wine (dry and sweet) , White Wine, rose wine.
    Having capasity of 200000 liters and having our own grape garden growing Indian varieties along with SHIRAZ and CABERNET SAUVIGNON.

    Red wine is made from SHIRAZ, CABERNET SAUVIGNON, and Indian grapes.

    White wine from CHENIN BLANC, SAUVIGNON BLANC, CHARDONNAY and Indian grapes.

    Selling under the brand name of 'Sailo Wines'.
