    Our Winery

    Our long tradition winery is family owned for over 100 years. On a cultivable land of about 4 ha size our grapes are harvested by hand still today!

    Dive into the typical great life of Rhinehessen and get an idea of the quality of our products at a wine tasting in our winery! Please let us know in advance when it is convenient for you, no matter if you want to do the tasting alone or with a number of people, wine tastings are possible all year round.

    Our Wine

    Our grapes are harvested by hand. We develop semi dry, dry, and ice wine. The vintages we offer are: Riesling, Gewuerztraminer, Silvaner, Kerner and Pinot Noir. We also offer a section of modern white and red vintages like Bacchus, White Burgundy, Portugieser and Dornfelder.


    Our Guesthouse

    Rhinehessen that is the country of the 1000 hills. Close your eyes and imagine the picture of a soft and hilly landscape with vine slopes as far as the eye can see. Whether you experience it white sugared in winter time, with tender foggy plumes in spring, luscious green in summer or finally in autumn with the enigmatic colour magnificence of the vine leaves, nearly no other landscape is capable of such a picturesque natural spectacle. It is in that surrounding where Bodenheim, a little wine village with a history of over 1000 years, is located 10 km in the south of the City of Mainz, the state capital of Rhineland Palatinate, which is situated in the geographic center of Germany and very close to the Rhine river banks. The contemplative village Bodenheim looks back on a very old viniculture tradition which was already brought in our wine region by the Roman Empire more than 2.000 years ago.
