    Romanian American Forum, RAF is a US company located in the Washington DC Metropolitan Area. The company was established in 1999.
    RAF's founding partners and management are Stefan Plesea and Stefan Ioana. Stefan Ioana is the President of CDS Solutions, an engineering consulting company involved in design and R&D for industries such as railroad, defense, semiconductors and aviation. Mr. Ioana worked on projects such as: Acela, Disney monorail trains, Rolls Royce Canada, Pratt and Whitney, Bombardier Aerospace, and McDonnell Douglas. He is co-founder and partner of several Romanian-American joint ventures and has extensive experience in international trade with focus on Romania, Switzerland, Canada, USA and Middle East.

    Stefan Plesea joined TCA, TrustCorp America, a Washington DC trust company, since its inception in July of 1995. He is the Director of Operation and Senior VP. He is the graduate of several continuing education courses in Taxation, Investments, STP and Estate Planning and received his B. S. In Finance from GM University, Virginia, and The Academy of Economic Studies, Bucharest. He has more than 12 years experience in investments and finance, custody, settlements and clearance. He has been involved in trading and economic transactions between US and Romania for the past 10 years, and has worked as a consultant for various US and Romanian companies

    Mr. Ioana and Mr. Plesea are founding members of The Romanian American Forum, RAF.

    RAF's main activity in the first two years was financial consulting for Romanian companies. Beginning in 2001 RAF started an import export activity. Today exporting and commerce intermediation is RAF main activity. RAF has been approved by the US Department of Agriculture as an eligible exporter under the GSM-102, GSM-103 and Export Enhancement Program.
