The factory is situated at Sakharwadi, Phaltan (approximately 100km from Pune) near New Phaltan Sugar Works ltd a Sugar manufacturing unit also promoted by the Apte family. Today Dr. Writer's manufactures Chocolates and Cocoa products for a large Multinational company. In addition the company has incorporated HACCP in to its manufacturing process, guaranteeing a high level of safety for its product.
