    Shandong Caiyangzi Saltworks was set up in 1959, located in the southwest of Laizhou Bay and Bohai Sea, situated in the north of Shouguang City Shandong Province, covers an area of 22. 8 square KM, with a staff of 1200 and assets of 180 million RMB. It is the largest scale enterprise in Shandong as the state-appointed enterprise of producing the table salt.
    With insisting on technology and research, the products had been developed to more than 10 kinds total three series. The enterprise has formed the new structure of ' the table salt is principle, the fine chemical as the emphases and export as the core. '
    The annual outputs of main products are: Crude salt 40, 0000 tons, the table salt including vacuum refined sea salt and crushed refined salt 30, 0000 tons, washing-crushed salt, melting snow salt, sun salt, breed aquatics salt, salted sea salt 40, 0000 tons, Para cresol 4, 000 tons, octabromoether 3, 000 tons, industrial bromine 5, 000 tons.
