A specially grade of hot isostatically pressed, Densomet, Porosity free carbide is selected for above mentioned products. Special lapping and grinding techniques developed by Master Metrology imparts high degree of surface finish and dimensional control on the gauges.
Master Metrology make Tungsten Carbide Gauges have a lot of advantages over the traditional steel gauges. Its high TRS, M. M. Tungsten Carbide outlasts steel by more than 30 times. Experience has proved that Master Metrology's Tungsten Carbide Gauges has been used for inspection of 85, 000 components and still remain within specified tolerances. This reduces inventory cost and purchasing cost. Intermediate inspection frequency can be reduced to a large extent thus saving gauge planning and processing time.
