    Established in 1995, BMJ West Africa publishes the international edition of the BMJ for all of West Africa, quarterly since July 1996. To meet its vision and mission, BMJWA has expanded its portfolio of product to include capacity building in continuing professional development for all health workers; designed and implemented a Health Information Resource Centre; designed and established its 'Masterclass series of lectures'; designed and implemented courses in 'critical appraisal', 'How to Read, How to write and How to get published' for all health workers in the subregion.
