1.0 THE BUSINESS

BAM Promotions was registered in March 2009 as a company owned by a group of dynamic Basotho women.

1.1 VISION AND OBJECTIVES

To ensure that our clients create value and appreciation for and through their clients.
To positively impact on the cultural and entertainment sectors of the economy for Lesotho and its visitors towards social development.
To advance Lesotho in the development of new opportunities through exploration of creative technology.
To identify and promote talent in Lesotho towards economic empowerment.

1.2 MISSION STATEMENT

BAM Promotions team has a commitment to be a platform to promote creativity and concepts in the country. The company is a vessel to expose aptitude of our clients within and beyond the borders of Lesotho using all possible means that reach out to the external world.

To inspire tourism, art and culture, as well as business and allow for its exploration and recognition in the entertainment industry towards a financially secure future.

1.3 GOALS

To identify and assist clients in exploring business concepts.
To ensure that creativity brings about financial independence.
To create a vibrant entertainment industry.
To create an opportunity for artists to attain both national and international recognition.


The concept of BAM Promotions, which came about in November 2008 is to expose and promote business services and talent opportunities that exist in Lesotho. The need for this step has been driven by the fact that creative concepts and art exist in the country, even though they are not being properly recognized or utilized, and there is much room for exploration of art and creative technology to create a vibrant industry that ultimately promotes concepts, initiatives and products.

In trying to determine way forward to put a plan into action, the following important factors were considered:

1. Ideas are born but are not fully built to make them worthwhile for their creators.
2. Making potential clients aware of a good concept and ensuring that it stays with them for a long time is yet to be an explored concept in the business industry in Lesotho.
3. There is much creative talent in the country which is not recognized.
4. There is room for extensive creativity to give Lesotho a boost in media.
5. There is a lot of information and art that can be used to expand the visibility of Lesotho around the globe.
6. There is minimum means of entertainment in the country hence tourists do not find Lesotho as an ultimate destination.
