    Background:

    Lakhany silk mills (pvt) ltd was established in 1952, with an enthusiasm of producing high quality, creative and superiority products. It stands as a group of companies-the lsm group. The lsm group has a diversified line of categories and products for the most demanding markets. The group has vertically integrated manufacturing facilities such as sizing, weaving, twisting, dyeing, printing, knitting, and stitching. Each unit is equipped with most modern equipment and machinery, ensuring the high quality products.

    The lakhany towel division was established in 1998. The following are the details of the unit.


    In house facilities:

    Weaving:

    1. 13 nos PUsulzer shuttleless loom 130 inch wide 4 colours dobby, with tuck-in device.
    2. 4 nos PU sulzer shuttleless loom 110 inch wide 4 colours dobby, with tuck-in device.
    3. 2 nos jacquard sulzer ruti shuttleless loom 110 inch wide g 6100 without tuck-in device.
    4. 7 nos vamatex shuttleless loom 102 inch wide 4 colours dobby, without tuck-in device.

    8. weaving capacity: Approximately 110 tons per month.


    Twisting:

    1. 2 nos two four one machines from murata.
