    The P J Raval Enterprises gave birth to Raval Mines in 1954.

    Raval Mines is the pioneer in SODA FELDSPAR mining in the Philippines. It has the biggest positive feldspar reserve of 26 million metric tons based on a diamond drilling study conducted by the the Bureau of Mines from 1968 to 1972.

    In addition, SILICA QUARTZ with a silica content of 99.4% is likewise found in its mining area.

    Our feldspar and quartz minerals are sold to glass and ceramic manufacturers; silicon smelting plants, silica ceiling boards and match companies in the Philippines.

    While its mica mineral is for for insulation sheet manufacturers.

    Our company has the capability to supply its non-metallic minerals by land or sea domestically or for export. By LCT ( Flat Bottom Ships) for local bulk orders or by V type ships to countries abroad.

    Our company has had the experience of exporting feldspar to Taiwan with a volume of of 200,000 metric tons for a period of 3 years from 1987 to 1990.

    Todate, we supply SAN MIGUEL YAMAMURA GLASS PLANT and MINDANAO SILICON METAL CORPORATION, the only quartz smelting plant for silicon metal in the Philippines; James Hardie which manufactures silica ceilling boards and other ceramic manufacturers --- Royal Tern, Nation Ceramics and Eurotiles among others.

    Furthermore, Asahi Glass Corporation Philippines is a buyer of its low iron silica quartz for the manufacture of its solar glass panels aside from its feldspar requirement for its flat glass products.

    We likewise had the opportunity to supply golf sand traps to leading golf courses in the Philippines, aside from select feldspar, chert and quartz stones for gardens and churches.
