Introduce:: Our firm is a very small and new firm based at Kohima, Nagaland, India established only in 2005. Our state is an agriculture state with more than 80% of the population into agriculture. Our poor illiterate farmers know how to produce, but they don't know where to market their produces.Therefore, we are trying to organize them in a more systematic manner and we into contract farming with them. Our primary responsibility is to establish market/buyer and encourage farmers to get sizable quantity to meet the market.
We have tung as long-term crop. We intercropp tung with short term crops such as ginger, turmeric, sesame, castor,sunflower, etc. We have over 3000 farmers under our contract.....
