Introduce:: We are pleased to introduce ourselves. We are engaged in growing potato seeds. Our Collective Farming Company "Sireniki" is located in the Republic of Belarus,30 kilometers away from its capital - the city of Minsk. As we have been specializing in our business for quite a long time, our Company is an official member of the National Register of Seed-Growing Enterprises of Belarus.

It is obvious that both our country and Canada are characterized by practically the same climate. That is why we would like to get acquainted with Canadian potatoes as well as to exchange working experience with Canadian farmers. Besides, we would like to purchase from you about 40 tons of E-or SE-class potato seeds in order to test them for the possibility of growing under our climate conditions. We are interested in super-early, early and middling-early potato sorts capable of producing large-sized potatoes which are resistant to the main potato vermins such as nematode and other pathogenic factors.

Thus, we ask you for sending us, if possible, a detailed description of appropriate potato sorts which can meet theabove requirements and which you can offer to us. It is most likely that our co-operation may be mutual beneficial.
