    The collection that gave birth and soul to Jimmy Key brand was created by Angelo in 1996. The aim of the collection had to be unconventional, a real passion for breaking boundaries, something that radically could change the concept of design that was around in those days. An Italian designer and manufacturer in Izmir (the ancient 'Smyrna') with strong contacts in the international market, followed the simplest rules of the basic marketing management: The right product, for the right market, at the right time and right price-quality relation.

    Within a year, the 'Sun Textile' Company, already engaged in collaboration with the most distinguished world brands, had touched the heart and dreams of many young costumers in Holland, France, Germany and Sweden. The first collection made up of pre-washed, vintage and `used looking` shirts and pants were named `Jimmy`, thanks to the easiness of the American name. After the big success of 1997 and 1998 everyone thought the name `Jimmy` brought a lot of luck and felt that `Jimmy` was the key to success with young clients of different countries, different habits and different dreams.
