Aker Narrow Fabric and Yarn Corporation

In 1969, by elder family member, Hasan Nuri Aker, our company was established with the title of Ozkan Watch Straps. In 1982, The company moved into textile industry with the new title of Ozkan Narrow Fabric Co.

Between the years of 1992 / 93, Narrow weaving jacquard technology was acquired by the company. Its strength in the industry increased by manufacturing capacity and product diversity by supporting the appropriate pricing and customer satisfaction.

In the year 2004, by the new title of Aker Narrow Fabric and Yarn. Corp., the company had a restructuring process to able to service a broader customer base in a faster and professional service with higher quality. More efficient use of total quality and renewing process of technological infrastructure can be listed as a few of restructuring presedures.

Our mission is, concentrating on our customers to meet with their polypropylene yarn and narrow woven needs, by our quality based manufacturing system, corporate culture that is open to innovations and developments, developing and learning organization structure, on time and on side policies, customer relations based continuity and trust with our experienced staff.

Our vision is, maintaining our leading position in our domestic industry, contributing the development of our industry and economy of the country, to be able to better serve our customers and transfering our domestic market experiences to oversea markets truly are among our priorities.

Aker A.S. depending on customer needs and desires uses many different raw materials at narrow woven manufacturing facility. Today, Aker A.S. manufactures the most intense demand for polypropylene yarn in its own plant mainly as 600, 1000 and 1300 deniers. According to customer demands in the manufacturing of different specifications are made, too. Aker A.S. provides its customers with qualified wide color possibilities. Today, Aker A.S. is bringing years of experience and knowledge of jacquard and normal narrow weaving into customer satisfaction by meeting the needs of the customers.

Today, Aker Narrow Fabric and Yarn. Corp.'s manufacturing capacity of narrow woven, is based on 3600 mt2 closed area which is placed on 27.450 mt2 open area, changes between 2 / 3 million meters per month according to product specifications. Apart from polypropylene yarn, raw cotton, nylon, sewing thread fibers and other derivatives are used at narrow woven manufacturing facility.
