    History
    In 1973, Oto Uzay started his business life in Taksim Tarlabasi as a retail store. In 1970s the company used to sell only locally produced automobile spare parts and accessories which left their place to imported products through time. In 1981, Oto Uzay built a 2500 squaremeter factory in Topkapi where the company started to manufacture its own products and a 1500 squaremeter main office building in Taksim for the sales and general management departments. In 1994 to enlarge its sales market and provide full service to all the geographic regions in Turkey, the company assigned two sales representatives and a mobile truck full of Oto Uzay products to each region and became very successful with this new marketing strategy. At present Oto Uzay is operating in its 17000 metersquare plaza situated in downtown Istanbul.
    Product portfolio
    The product portfolio consists of universal accessories appropriate for all automobile, SUV, minivan, minibus and truck brands. Alarm, snow chain, ski holders, care products, air fresheners, sunshields, seat cushions, seat covers, car covers, car mats, arm holders, speakers, telephone glass and sunglass holders, 12 V refrigerators, picnic sets, all types of lamps and projectors, fire extinguishers, first aid sets, spare battery and booster cables, compressor types are some of the more than 1000 accessory categories that the company possesses under Space brand. Oto Uzay is also carrying some internationally famous brands like CBM, Rieger Tuning etc.

    Oto Uzay who is carrying the leadership flag in vehicle accessories sector for the last 10 years does not want to sacrifice from this position and is trying to offer the best service to its customers to secure the continuation of its leadership.

    Along with the sales team made up of 26 people and 27 central office employees working in the accounting, finance, import and shipment departments Oto Uzay has 53 employees and the company owes his success to this reliable and hard-working team. For that reason, the firm tries to meet all the expectations of his employees and keep the same individuals for many years under his roof. On the other hand, in order to follow the novelties in the business world, secure the dynamism of the company and keep the continuous learning system intact, employee rotation strategy is often used.
    Marketing and sales team
    With 9 trucks, 4 minibuses and 26 sales representatives Oto Uzay can provide its service to every possible location in Turkey. Trucks that serve as mobile wholesale shops and the related sales team travel around their assigned region for one month period and go back to the main warehouse in Istanbul at the end of this one month period for another shipment.
