    The active agents used in our products help to reduce harmful and odor-causing bacteria on textiles without using any chemicals. The patented silver ion technology that is used in our fabrics is natural and compatible with the skin. These silver ions prevent bacteria from growing and spreading in or on the fabric. Bacteria are inhibited from growing and their effects are neutralized. This product does not protect users or others against disease causing or food-bourne bacteria, but the use of our textiles will be beneficial in preventing bacterial growth on the fabrics that come in touch with the human body. Our fabrics are biologically harmless to humans and pose no health risk.


    Mechanism:

    Using a patented production process, Silver ions (Ag(plus)) are integrated into the textile fibers.
    In our Silver Green Products, the antimicrobial agent has become a permanent component of the fiber polymer.

    Silver ions deliver their antibacterial effect by emitting positively charged electric particles, i.e. ions. Bacteria are microorganisms, the spreading of which is actively impeded by silver ions.

    Our Silver Green Products come into direct contact with bacteria. Silver ions actively attack bacteria in several simultaneous ways. The effect is limited to the direct surface of the fiber, i.e. to the textile product itself. Bacteria are prevented from growing and spreading in and on the textile material.

    A warm and moist environment provides ideal growth conditions for bacteria. Sweating also supports the formation of unpleasant odors on fabrics. Those odors are also significantly reduced.

    The silver deposit has a long lasting antimicrobial effect, which will last longer than the life of the textile, even with frequent washing or extensive usage.

    Unlike chemically treated or enhanced textiles that rapidly lose their beneficial properties, Silver Green Products remain effective for the lifetime of any textile.
