    From its modest beginnings in 1970, somporn industries Co., ltd. Has progressed by adapting to the tastes of its customers. It began life 34 years ago as a producer of handmade artificial flowers, and has evolved into the manufacturer of the pure silk and printed cotton handicrafts which is renowned for today.

    Mr. Somyos phoneprasert and ms. Chamaiporn vivatwongtorn, the cofounders of the company, had always believed craftsmanship to be the core of thai heritage, which must therefore be preserved. With all the opportunities, we have always had the strong belief that our craftsmanship will be an initial recognition in the world". It is for this reason that somporn industries Co., ltd. Has chosen to focus on exporting thai handicrafts.

    Somporn industries Co., ltd. Produces fabric covered handicrafts such as picture frames, jewelry and trinket boxes, lipstick and glasses cases. Handbag mirrors, cosmetic bags, desk accessory sets, pot holders, oven mittens, place-mats, tissue box covers and variety of bags. An overwhelming 90% of its products are exported to various markets around the world, including the us, the uk, italy, germany, taiwan and japan.

    The company has worked very hard to position itself as a world-class handicraft producer. In so doing, it has cultivated and earned the trust of its customers worldwide from day one. 's designs are the work of the in-house designers who work under the company's brand (hype), and are charged with conceiving new ideas for other practical and attractive household products and gift items.
