Suraki company has been established in 2001, at 60 km west Bucharest (captial of Roamnaia) , in Giurgiu county.
The Suraki Agro Industrial Complex compounds the following:
- ostrich farm-about 2500 ostriches / year
- reproduction farm
- birds to sluaugter
- an incubation unit with a capacity up to 3000 egg / round
- over 600 ha vegetal farm
- state of the art slaugterhouse specialized in ostrich / sheep / lamb / goat slaughter.
- attached tannery-sepcialized in processing ostrich / sheep / goat hides.
- fresh / forzen meat processing unit
- cured dry processing unit
- canned meat processing unit
