History
Dubai Wire Group comprises of four companies
1. Dubai Wire FZE: Manufactures various types of steel nails
2. Global Fasteners Limited: Manufactures drywall screws
3. Integrated Engineering FZE: Manufactures threaded rods and staples
4. Karl M. Reich Verbindungstechnik GmbH (Joint Venture): Manufactures pneumatic tools and distributes fasteners.

Dubai Wire Group was founded by Mr. Rupak Ved in 1982 with just 50 employees. The company only manufactured bulk nails at the time. To expand and grow, "The International Investors" of Kuwait and Renaissance Group (Tawoos Group of Oman) invested capital in Dubai Wire.

In November, 1999 Dubai Wire expanded into the screw and specialty fasteners industry and started a new company by the name of Global Fasteners Ltd.

Today, the Group employs more than 1,000 employees with facilities spread over 2 million square feet. Dubai Wire is and continues to be the largest exporter of value added industrial and construction fasteners in the Middle East.

Dubai Wire FZE has a dominant position in the US market for its various product segments. Nails come in paper, plastic and wire collation. Dubai Wire specializes in small packaged products (1LB/5LB). Nails come in numerous finishes which include Bright, Vinyl Coated, Electro Galvanized and True Hot Dip Galvanized.

Global Fasteners Ltd. manufactures high quality Bulk and Collated Screws. The company has established itself as a producer of consistent high quality drywall and wood screws globally. The broad product range includes drywall screws, wood screws, particle board screws, self-drilling screws, stainless steel deck screws, collated screws, ballistic screws and specialty fasteners.

In 2008, Dubai Wire Group expanded its product range by introducing the production of threaded rods, anchors, bolts and studs through its subsidiary "Integrated Engineering FZE". In the near future, Dubai Wire Group would like to penetrate the industrial staple industry.

The Group has recently began a joint venture with German company Karl M. Reich Verbindungstechnik GmbH, a reputed fastening tools manufacturer for many decades. They manufacture fastening tools that include gun firing for nails, screws and staples. The company also distributes all fasteners from the Dubai Wire Group portfolio throughout Europe. Karl M. Reich's tools are known in the global market for their robust quality, high reliability, low maintenance, and long service life. Karl M. Reich values customer service greatly. They provide a comprehensive post sales servicing facility for all customers.
